What we collect
ContourSki has no user accounts, sign-up forms, or newsletters. We don't collect names, emails, or payment details directly. The data that does flow is:
Standard server logs — our hosting provider (Vercel) logs request metadata (IP address, user agent, requested page) for every visit, as any web host does.
Map tile requests — the interactive map on this site loads tiles directly from OpenFreeMap in your browser, so OpenFreeMap sees your IP address when you use it. We don't control or receive that data ourselves.
Affiliate booking clicks — links to ski passes, rentals, flights, hotels, and car hire go through affiliate partners (see our cookie policy) so we can earn a commission if you book. Only clicked/only-with-consent — see that page for detail.
ContourSki Mobile App
The sections above describe this website. The ContourSki mobile app (iOS/Android) has a deliberately simpler, different data footprint — it has no accounts, sign-up, or login of any kind, and no analytics or advertising SDKs.
Resort, piste, lift, and price data — read from a public, read-only file storage bucket. This is a plain data request, not tied to you personally.
Location — if you allow location access, your device's position is used only to show a marker on the in-app map. It's processed entirely on your device and is never sent to our servers or stored anywhere.
Booking links — ski pass, rental, accommodation, and flight links open in your device's browser and take you to a third-party provider's site. Some are affiliate links — if you book through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
Your rights (access, correction, deletion, objection under GDPR for EU/UK users) are the same as described below — contact info@winterresorthub.com to exercise them.
Third parties we use
Vercel — hosting and content delivery.
Supabase — database and image storage.
WeatherAPI.com — weather data, fetched by our server, not your browser directly.
OpenFreeMap / MapLibre — map tiles, loaded directly by your browser when you use the interactive map.
CJ Affiliate — affiliate booking tracking (e.g. Booking.com links) after you accept cookies.
Your rights
If you're in the EU/UK, you have rights under GDPR (access, correction, deletion, objection) over any personal data processed about you. Contact info@winterresorthub.com to exercise these.
